For residential proxies, Webshare is cheaper at every volume we price, 1 to 500 GB a month, comparing each provider's cheapest published option. At 100 GB a month Webshare costs $225 ($2.25/GB) and Bright Data $700 ($7.00/GB), $475 apart.

At 50 GB of mobile traffic, 100 GB of datacenter traffic or 100 IPs a month, each provider's cheapest published option. "Not sold" means its pricing pages don't list that type; "By quote" means the volume is above its largest published plan.
What the numbers say
- The least you can spend on residential traffic: $3.50 a month for 1 GB on Webshare; 1 GB at $8.00 (pay as you go) on Bright Data.
- Only Bright Data sells residential traffic without a monthly plan (Pay as you go: $8.00 per GB); Webshare sells monthly plans only.
- Bright Data: Plans are a minimum monthly commitment: usage is billed at the plan's rate against the balance, and you add funds when it runs low. Unused commitment does not roll over.
- Bright Data: 50% off residential proxies for the first 3 months with coupon code RESIGB50: $4/GB pay as you go, and $3.50, $3 and $2.50/GB on the $499, $999 and $1,999 plans. The GB-included figures on the plan cards are at the coupon price.
