For residential proxies, IPRoyal is cheaper at 1, 10, 50 and 100 GB a month; Bright Data at 500 GB, comparing each provider's cheapest published option. At 100 GB a month IPRoyal costs $525 ($5.25/GB) and Bright Data $700 ($7.00/GB), $175 apart.

What the numbers say
- The least you can spend on residential traffic: 1 GB at $7.00 (subscription) on IPRoyal; 1 GB at $8.00 (pay as you go) on Bright Data.
- Both sell residential traffic without a monthly plan: 10 GB costs $55.10 on IPRoyal and $80 on Bright Data.
- IPRoyal: Traffic never expires. Bright Data: Plans are a minimum monthly commitment: usage is billed at the plan's rate against the balance, and you add funds when it runs low. Unused commitment does not roll over.
